Darumas don’t just grow on trees. They are hand-crafted from eco-friendly material in Takasaki, Japan. They start in a bath of liquid pulp and formed into the Daruma shape. They are then painted from tip to base. Each Daruma is unique because of the care and craftsmanship that is spent on every doll. Daruma dolls are a symbol of what we can accomplish with our own strength and they are manufactured in a way that fits their meaning.
