SHERIF NILAMBUR has got an inquisitive approach towards the human values, and its interpretations are immersed in his creations. Through his experience with traditional potters and craftsmen of various parts of India, he developed this art form which is unique and everlasting. An artist without master He hasn’t got any academic or career oriented training in sculpture. He has no master. He believes that his medium is his master. When he was in architectural designing he realized the importance of clay as an echo friendly element, which is contemporary to suit modern days living. Within a short span of time, he has tried his hand successfully at wall murals which found places in various parts of India and abroad. The wall mural at art gallery of Kerala Kalamandalam is one of his prestigious projects in Kerala, and he participated in many national exhibitions conducted in Delhi and other major cities of India. His works also found places in private collection of many curators hailing from abroad. He has got appreciations from many governmental and non-governmental organizations for several times appeared in electronic media and got news coverage from leading newspapers. Back to Earth Back to earth is an organization – a ray of hope, to mother earth is molested by the modern vicious market system.
