Today – LED Tube lamps T8 retrofits are becoming very popular in the fluorescent retrofit lighting market. Unlike fluorescent lamps, LED lamps require a small driver to regulate the flow of DC power through the lamp. However, a LED lamp converts electrical power into useful light more effectively than a fluorescent lamp. Retrofit any current fluorescent T8, T10 or T12 bulb you currently have over to an energy efficient LED Tube bulb in no time at all! Lower energy cost helps offset the higher initial cost of the LED light lamp. Many T8 tube lamps can be found in large commercial or school buildings and the LED lamps are now being used as the energy-saving alternative to mercury filled fluorescent lamps models currently available. Compared with fluorescent lamps, LED lamps use less power for the same amount of light, last up to 3 times longer, stop potential fluorescent headaches, emits full spectrum natural light, contain no toxic mercury, and use no ballast that can fail that also generates high heat levels demanding more air conditioning for a room.
