The companys newest and greenest building, West Chester Service Building, has earned silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC). The building, which is expected to use 20 percent less energy and 40 percent less water than the previous building, met the stringent standards for its energy usage and environmental impact. Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly features of West Chester SB include: Use of reflective roofing materials and extensive use of natural light; Installation of low flow water devices; Use of 20 percent recycled construction materials including furniture and fixtures; Use of energy efficient lighting; New HVAC and energy monitoring equipment to improve indoor air quality; Use of green cleaning materials; Preferred parking for van/car-pooling and alternative fueled vehicles.
