Broadly speaking a Green Job is any that helps reduce our CO2 footprint. Narrowly speaking, any job heavily focused on renewable energy services and jobs supporting the solar, wind, biomass, hydro, hydrogen and fuel cell industries. To find one check our www.greenjobs.net Some old blue-collar jobs are now Green-Collar Jobs. But White collar-jobs like engineers and so on can also become green jobs. Every day, about 135 million people go to work in the US Imagine what would happen if millions of those became green jobs — plus new ones created for people in new CO2 reducing industries in fields like renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and green building.
