Washing cloth diapers made easy

Just a quick video to show how easy it is to wash cloth diapers. In this load I have pocket diapers, AIO’s (All In One’s), and AI2’s (All In 2’s), as well as some of my mama cloth, but I don’t think you can see those. You can buy the detergent I used at www.liloutlaws.net Tea Tree Oil is something that I really recommend, as it helps with smell and keeps yeast away. Many people have trouble with microfiber holding on to smells, but tea tree oil really banishes it!

gosh! I find your routine sooooo much easier than all the other ones I have seen. And I just watched your video on the prefolds and then a cover… I am going to start w this w our 11 wk old bc it seems most cost efficient for us. May ask where do u get ur diaper detergent. Thank ypu so much for an easy routine that doesnt make me think cloth diapering is too hard LOL. :)

@chrashley87 Yep, that’s all I do! I have to strip about once every 6 months or so.

So you just do one cycle you don’t do a rinse or anything else?

Ill try vinegar, thanks

@cobygr Just a little splash, I’d say maybe 1/8th of a cup. Tea tree oil will give you the same results though (no smell, kills bacteria) without any risk of harm to your PUL. Those ebay diapers are notorious for bad PUL.

@burleysgirl616
I use the cheap ebay pocket diapers about $5 each and the fuzzi bunz pocket diapers, how much vinegar do you use? and how often?
thanks.

@cobygr I’ve also heard that frequent use of vinegar can damage the PUL on diapers, but I’ve been using it for 2 1/2 years and I haven’t seen that problem. The only damaged PUL I’ve ever had was on that pail liner, but it was bought as a second quality, and was damaged when I got it. I use whatever brand is on sale.

I was told to not use vinegar with my cloth diapers…what brand do you use?

@lmgodbold Yeah, I was. It really doesn’t matter though, it’s just nicer looking right side out. That bag was falling apart though, anyway. If you look closely you can see spots where the laminate was falling off of the material lol!

i think you are using your pail bag inside out.. they shinny part is supose to be on the inside. not showing
