An introduction to the sustainable, green and eco-friendly aspects of The Church of Shambhala Vajradhara Maitreya Sangha’s monastic residence project, designed by His Holiness Buddha Maitreya and currently under construction in Lake County, California. The project, as a prototype of ecological living, will incorporate solar and wind technology, recycling and water conservation principles, and hybrid and electric transportation. Along with aquaponic and organic food cultivation, and the practice of right exercise and diet, as an example of healthy balanced lifestyle. Lake County has been chosen for its natural beauty, clean air, and commitment to furthering ecology.
