AUSTRALIAN NIC FRANCES UPDATES ON THE KEY ACTIVITY FROM DAY ONE AT DAVOS: “Hi, I’m Nic Frances from Easy Being Green and it’s the end of a very long first day at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. We’ve all come here this year because we did something quite extraordinary in terms of the world in New South Wales last year. We aggregated millions of tonnes of CO2 from half a million residents. This was a great achievement by NSW and great for residents too; they saved money while contributing to slowing down CO2 emissions in Australia. What this taught us is that it’s actually possible, probably and hopefully in the next two or three years, to reduce CO2 emissions just by changing the light globes…”
