Ramu Uyyala from Hyderabad in India is the winner of the YOUTH BUSINESS INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR AWARD 2008. Ramu comes from a very poor family and could never attend a proper school. However, with lots of hard work and commitment he managed to set up his own plastic recycling company. After 4 years in business he employs already 20 people directly and 20 people on commission. In addition he is able to support his elderly parents and finance the studies of his two brothers.
