Nueva planta de reciclaje en Perú

La empresa Cartotek SA, en coordinación con la transnacional sueca Tetra Pak, inauguró la primera Planta Integral de Reciclaje y Transformación de envases de Tetra Pak en el Perú, la misma que tuvo una inversión aproximada de medio millón de dólares. Esta única planta, ubicada en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, tiene una capacidad de procesamiento de 8640 toneladas por año. En el 2009 podrá reciclar 900 toneladas de envases de Tetra Pak, es decir, el doble de lo procesado en el 2008 (7,4%). En la actualidad existen alrededor de 6000 toneladas de envases de Tetra Pak en el mercado peruano. www.elcomercio.com.pe
