In this Day 3 of our LENT series, Jeanie explains how to hydrate and prepare Chia Seeds into Chia Gell. Chia seeds, most known as the Chia Pet, are truly a SUPER FOOD from this continent. Chia seeds contain essential fatty assets, are hydrophilic which means they absorb 10 – 12x their size in water. They also slow the absorption of carbohydrates. They were once considered so valuable that they were used as currency!
