www.scmp.com Sony’s new Bravia WE5 series LCD TVs come packed with all the features you’d expect from a new TV; the real innovation comes from the environmentally-friendly touches Sony have added. The WE5 features a new backlight panel that uses 40% less energy than a 2008 Bravia. An energy saving switch reduces power consumption to practically 0W, and is more convenient than manually unplugging the set. In this video, watch footage from the launch of the new Bravia series and see models demonstrate another green feature, the intelligent presence sensor.
