When I found out about the company Greenbuilders located in Georgetown, I was curious about what kind of homes they were building. To my surprise, they look like normal homes in normal neighborhoods. Many people are under the impression that a green home has to look unusual. We interviewed the CEO, Clark Wilson and found out that he wants to develop neighborhoods of green builder homes. It was a warm fall afternoon when we took the tour and I remember walking into a home that was still under construction. Once I stepped inside, the temperature instantly dropped. I knew if I was in my home without ceiling fans or AC, it would have been much warmer. In this story, Mr. Wilson explains what makes these homes green and you’ll get a glimpse of what they’re made of. You may find yourself wanting to do your own research on green building methods after watching this piece.
