What Does “green” Gardening Mean To You? How Would It Be Different Than How You Or Others Garden Now?

My husband is retired and has a small garden about 12 X 25. Over the years he has learned some tricks like mulching, using ladybugs and mass plantings to get as much in for the least amount of space and of coarse recycling rain water for garden watterings.
Just these simple things has produced as much as a larger garden and less work & cost.
I think an organic garden would be “green” by definition. I garden organically so no different.
