Information for Prestatyn residents (previously hand delivered) Hi all. A quick letter from neighbourhood watch and Gary Alexander Bourne (representative for Bodnant Estate and area) Just to do a follow up to previous letter from me. As I noticed the letter sent to me, there was only a web address (not much good if you can’t get Internet) I’ve looked up the telephone number and it is Winter Fuel Payments 0845 915 1515 8.30am to 4.30pm. If you have already received the payment in the past, you should be on the list. But as it is £25 a time it is worth a phone call to make sure. The Met Office have notified the Department for Work and Pensions that 1 period of very cold weather has occurred in the LL15-19, 22, 26-32 postcode areas between 1 November 2009 and 7 January 2010, triggering a Cold Weather Payment. Pensioner Premium Enhanced Pensioner Premium Higher Pensioner Premium Disability Premium Severe Disability Premium Disabled Child Premium or have a child under the age of 5 or receive Employment and Support Allowance (Income Related) and the applicable amount includes either the support component or the work-related activity component.
