you think you can use those platinum plated disks for electrolysis?
@carbonhealth
Heard, not heart.
And neodymium not nerodym
You stupid weak piece of shit
neodymium isnt used from 1995 and up
artificial magnets got powerful enough and cheaper
freemicrosoftpoint[DOT]com is the best!
hard drives used to be small..
and rare earth magnets are incredibly strong..
so increase your speakers volume LOL
dude, next time turn the recording volume more cuz i can’t barely listen to what you are saying
I cant belive that hardrive held only 3gb
those magnets are not that strong.
I never heart the word earth magnets, but rather called nerodym-magnets, and there are nothing special.
He is not at all joking about the power of those hard-drive magnets. I took some magnets out of an old SCSI hard drive and got my fingers slammed in between them. It was quite painful.
Also, be VERY careful and do not let them slam together without proper eye protection. They can and will shatter and send shards of metal all over the place.
i guuess the members of “Jackass” are pansies….
Wow! I’ve taken apart a bunch of hard drives but I’ve never seen magnets that big.
some of the best Rare Earth magnets are in speakers, they usually are atatched to a piece of iron to make the stronger, the bigger the better, but it does not necessarilly mean the stronger, the strongest i have ever come across are industrial magnets, but they are much more dangerous, and many can hold a man off the ground.
some of those screws have screw sealant that is usually red or green, its usually a good idea to break the seal on the screws before turning the screw, that way you dont end up breaking the screw, and cracking it open with a hammer…………
Wow, never took one apart to see what was inside.
Lol the cheapest way to destroy is trowing a HDD in a washer, put it on hot with some hydrocloric acid, Cleans the washer and kills the HDD
i want those magnets!!!!!!!!!!!
Those rare earth magnets aren’t riveted together, like you say. It just the incredibly strong magnets keeping them together.
This guy looks sweaty. He must be natural.
Don’t inhale……
Watch me put this magnet into a bowl full of nails……… Whooppps!
Make sure you have all the nails lined up pointy end first
They are platinum coated and other metals. One ounce for ever few thousand disks.
Core is aluminum or glass in some older laptop types.
but plantnum is at like 1300 an ounce
