This video contains a picture and a short piece of footage of each type of collection vehicle operating in Warringah Shire, between July 2004 and July 2009. I also have many longer videos of each of these trucks uploaded which you may like to take a look at. During my 2009 April holidays I headed out early during a number of mornings to video each of the Warringah collection trucks operating for Veolia. I hope you enjoy this video I produced, I would appreciate any ratings and comments I could get as it took a bit of work to get this together. I’d also like to give a big thanks to all the Veolia blokes from Warringah and hope they enjoy the footage too. As of 1st July 2009, a new waste contract started for Warringah Shire Council which was awarded to URM (United Resource Management). Due to this new contract, URM ended up getting their own trucks which has now resulted in a very diverse fleet. As this is the case, I’ll be aiming to do another of these videos based on the 2009 to 2014 fleet. Until then, I bring to you… *** WARRINGAH IN ACTION (2004 to 2009) *** The Side Loaders: 9 x 29m Superior PAK Single Pass / Iveco Acco (household waste & recycling) 3 x 22m MacDonald Johnston Refuse / Iveco Acco (units & spare/extra) 2 x 22m MacDonald Johnston Refuse / Volvo FL6 (spare/extra) The Rear Loaders: 3 x 25m Compaction Systems / Iveco Acco (greens/vegetation & occasional clean-up) 2 x 19m Compaction Systems / Scania (clean-up) 2 x 8m Compaction Systems / FUSO Canter (public
