This was one of the ways the recycling was collected in the units when Veolia had the contract. Paper would be sent to the bottom compartment while the bottles were held up in the top compartment. Personally, I believe using seperate trucks for bottles and paper works a lot better than this, as the job gets done much faster and you don’t have to call it a load after the paper compartment fills.
