Society

An example of how a small organization can do its bit for the society is seen at Space Plus LLC, a woman-owned company that specializes in innovative office space solutions including sliding glass doors, workspace enclosures, partitions, conference room dividers and storage enclosures.

On August 6, 2007, Space Plus received an email from the “Make A Wish Foundation” about a boy named Hector from Indio, California. He was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure.   Hector is one of 4 children.    3 of those children have life-threatening conditions.   Hector shared a room with his sister and very much wanted a room of his own. Sheryl Hai-Ami, President of Space Plus LLC met with Bonnie Rubin, a wish grantor from “Make A Wish Foundation” and within one month, Hector had a sliding glass room divider that enclosed a room just for him!    The room divider goes from floor to ceiling and offers privacy when Hector needs it. The sliding panels can also open up to allow a larger open area when he prefers a more open environment.

Space Plus also sets an example for being an environment-conscious company. They use only recyclable materials that are perfect for “green” construction projects to implement their office and home space solutions. The Space Plus LLC product line of office enclosures, privacy walls and room dividers is comprised of sliding glass panels that allow light to shine through while giving privacy behind each panel. The glass and aluminum frames are all recyclable and do not require any harsh chemicals to clean them, further enhancing a clean environment.

If each and every organization in the world, big or small, decided to do their share for society and the environment, the world would be a much better place to live.

Sheryl Hai-Ami, President and founder of Space Plus LLC has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She adds over 16 years experience in the computer industry?s international customer service arena and 5 additional years in quality programs such as ISO 9001.Space Plus LLC has earned a GSA contract and sells directly to the US Army, Universities and numerous government agencies in addition to other commercial clients. Space Plus? corporate office and showroom are located in Westlake Village, California and the sales offices can be found in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, San Diego, Miami, San Francisco and New York.
